About the Author:
Daniel Smith has travelled extensively abroad and studied in China, Germany, Guatemala, and Russia. He obtained his J.D. from the College of Law at the University of Iowa, where he also earned an M.F.A. in Comparative Literature (Literary Translation) and an M.A. in Library and Information Science, besides undergraduate degrees in Russian (B.A.) and Biochemistry (B.S. with Honors).
